Our Offer

Opticos is a young company, but consists of senior consultants with experience from leading sourcing, outsourcing, offshoring and insourcing activities and projects for many international companies.
Opticos is built on four pillars of success:

Leadership
It takes determination, strength and support from top management in all organizations part of the sourcing setup to be able to create good conditions for innovative, successful and collaborative contracts.
Opticos have long experience of leading positions from large, international and global companies. We can act with, within and drive management teams in the change related to large sourcing projects.

Contract

A contract should be a simplification of reality, with drivers to support the customer business objectives. In order to be able to develop good, sound and lucrative contracts, the sourcing team must be able to understand the business drivers and be able to translate these to contract terms.
Also, innovation aspects must imbue the foundation of the contract, not be an add-on. Common objectives and incitements are important to get teams from different organizations to put their focus in one direction.
We have legal expertise as well as long practical experience from both sides of a contract and of the process to get to a well maintained and efficient contract.

Organization

Governance organization and collaboration should be set up so that the parties have the right dialogues on the right levels. For instance, be careful to separate different kinds of challenges, so that technical issues are handled by specialists, and the adaptive issues are handled by the management.
Also, governance structure must include clear delegation and escalation structures, to support the Customer in getting a controlled and sound sourcing environment, and balance supplier information advantage.
We have built, negotiated & managed ”retained organizations”. We have practical experience of offshoring since 1993, and have lead transition hands-on to offshore suppliers at numerous occasions.

Behaviors

When developing a deal or when managing a sourced environment, control power behaviors such as measures of force, secrets, blame throwing, short-term objectives, special treatments and so on. Favor partner behaviors such as openness, a culture of sharing, long-term objectives and common advantages.
We have practical experience of anchoring & internal sales as well as management of outsourcing processes. We are also practiced and deeply experienced change agents.
